This Thanksgiving season, GCA is partnering with The Gathering Church to fill Winter Backpacks for neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Please bring items by Thursday, November 19, before Thanksgiving break. Through this service project, we can show our children how compassion and generosity reflect Christ’s love. Please also pray for everyone receiving a backpack, that these practical gifts will remind them they are seen, cared for, and loved by God. What a beautiful opportunity to remind our children that serving others is an important part of loving our neighbors as Christ has called us to do! Even the smallest act of generosity can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. As Galatians 6:9–10 (ESV) reminds us, let us not grow weary of doing good, but seek opportunities to do good to everyone.
