Backpacks:

Lower School: Any brand, rolling or not, small-sized backpacks are recommended, as they will be stored inside the classroom.

Water Bottles:

Lower School: Water bottles need to be easy-to-manage. They need to include a flip-top straw that minimizes leaking if tipped over. Water bottles such as the Ellies Kids or Yeti Kids styles work especially well. We respectfully ask that Owala bottles and large Stanley or Yeti tumblers with exposed straws remain at home. 

Examples of preferred types of water bottles: Ello Ellies Kids or Yeti Kids

ThermoFlask water bottles can be purchased at various retailers (Amazon, Costco, Wal-Mart, etc.)

Upper School: We respectfully ask to please leave large Stanleys/ tumblers with exposed straws at home. Water bottles should be spill proof and able to close. 

Backpacks:

We highly recommend a comfortable carry backpack that fits all your students books & supplies.

If you’ve already purchased a rolling bag, that’s ok. Students will keep rolling backpacks downstairs and use them like a makeshift locker: taking what they need before heading up to class. We want to avoid backpacks being dragged up the stairs.
