Please read all information below! 

All GCA students in grades 9–12 will participate in PreACT/ACT testing on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. These assessments are required for all high school students.

• 9th & 10th Grade: PreACT
  This test provides a preview of the ACT and helps students understand their current readiness and areas for growth.

• 11th & 12th Grade: ACT
  The ACT is used for college admission and scholarship consideration. It also helps us evaluate and strengthen our academic program from year to year.

These assessments provide a strong measure of overall academic progress and help students identify areas for further study and improvement. While GCA administers the ACT once each year, students may also choose to test at other locations if they plan to take it multiple times.

Testing Day Details

• Testing begins promptly at 8:00 AM

• Students should arrive at their normal drop-off time (by 7:45am)

• The day is dedicated to testing only

• Students will be dismissed when they finish

• Most students finish just before noon, though some may take longer

Please plan to be available for pick-up beginning around 12:00 PM.

Additional details and reminders will be sent as we get closer to testing day.
