For all Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors
Purpose and Structure: The class is set up to help students prepare for their ACT College Entrance Test. This test is the primary tool that colleges use to assess suitability to a school and also to award financial discounts. Depending on a student’s career aspirations and academic performance, the student will want to take the ACT test between 2-4 times. At GCA we offer the ACT test in the Junior and Senior years.
This class is set up so that students receive instruction and test taking tips while in the class, then have a two week window to practice and then return to class for feedback and further instruction.
There are a total of five Fridays dedicated to the class. The students will take the ACT test itself in the Spring at GCA but are free to register for and take the ACT outside GCA in the Fall.
